Klappentext / abstract

This delightful little story tells of a young girls time with her grandmother as she relates a legend of where hummingbirds come from. Where Hummingbirds Come From may well become an all-time children's classic and a perfect book for young readers.
This book was revised on 9/4/2012 to enable Kindle users to adjust the font size to fit their needs.

Inhalt / content

A girl wants to listen to a fairy tale. So the grandmother tells her, where the hummingbirds came from - out of a river's mist.

As far as I evaluate, orhtography, punctuation and grammar are accurate. The translations of sentences or breaks are written one below the other. Sometimes the translation is quite loose, but always faultlessly with regard to contents.

Beispiel / Example:

"She had that faraway look she gets sometimes.

The story is very charming, which is heightened by its beloving drawings.

User of a Kindle would have to do without the nicely choosed colours. I would advice to buy the book, if its meant for children to learn german.

But this little book is useful for adults as well. The story is really charmful and reminds to nice, oldfashined fairy tales.

Fazit / conclusion

Wunderschönes Buch um Englisch zu lernen / wonderful book to learn german
